Hotel:  Des Acacias, Neuville-en-Ferrain

Another decent, fairly modern hotel, good facilities and restaurant/bar, a bit out of the way but not far in a taxi to the nearest bar areas. Would recommend Mouscron for a night out rather than Neuville, as the latter is effectively just an extremely quiet, small suburb of Lille.

Battlefield visits:

First day - Fromelles Museum, Aubers Ridge, Pheasant Wood - site of the recently uncovered mass grave - Bethune, Le Touret Memorial, the Cinder Track, Neuve Chappelle, Ypres for the Last Post at the Menin Gate.

Second day - Battlefield cemeteries at Rue Petillon and Le Trou, VC Corner Cemetery, Cobbers Statue in the Fromelles Memorial Park, Poperinghe, Hazebrouck and Nieppe Forest and the air war in the sector, ANZAC Cemetery.
